Whew, what a day! Like the rest of the week before it today is absolutely beautiful in the centre of Glasgow, sunny and (apparently) in the low 20s (celsius).
Of course at the moment I'm in the office, slowly sweating my way through the day at my desk. I did get a bit of respite this morning, only it involved helping move a lot of boxes into the office. Back-breaking and sweat-inducing work!
Still, there is something about the onset of summer which really cheers you up.

I hate Mondays!
Arrrgh! Work! Mondays! Six-day weeks! No evenings in to do stuff! No lie-ins! No three-day weekends!
Such is the week ahead of me. Long, tiresome, and the prospect of having to work this Saturday casting a cloud over the Bank Holiday Weekend which is ahead of us.
The week has barely started and I am tired and irritable already. Gary (co-worker) really isn't helping either, with his trademark, "Do you want to do...", which of course means, "You WILL do this, or risk looking really bad".
Not a happy camper. I hate Mondays!

First entry!
Well from 1988 until a few years ago I kept a paper diary. Now I'm online, and will take a few entries to get used to this a bit.
